To give you an idea of how we make custom software, we have taken all of the Clinical Trials Information from our Federal Government (https://clinicaltrials.gov/).
We looked all over the internet for an accurate database schema for Clinical Trials. We did not find any that matched the JSON files they have.
Study is the parent of all data in a Clinical Study.
The next layer is the Section Layer. There are 5 Sections:
1. Protocol Section
2. Results Section
3. Annotation Section
4. Document Section
5. Derived Section
Each Section has various Modules.
