NCTid: The NCTid is the National Clinical Trial Identifier Number. It is assigned by the National Library of Medicine (NLM) at http://clinicaltrials.gov/ website when a new study appears in the NLM Clinical Trials data base. The format is like this: NCT0630xxxx.

NCT ID *: All Studies have an NCT ID, the entire system uses this as a unique identifier.
Brief Title *: A short title of the clinical study written in language intended for the lay public. The title should include, where possible, information on the participants, condition being evaluated, and intervention(s) studied. Limit: 300 characters.
Official Title *: The title of the clinical study, corresponding to the title of the protocol. Limit: 600 characters.
Acronym: An acronym or abbreviation used publicly to identify the clinical study, if any. Limit: 14 characters.
