* Body Mass Index \> 40
* Body Mass Index \> 35 with 2 mayor comorbidities
Exclusion Criteria:
* Severe gastroesophageal reflux
* Esophagitis grade B or higher
* Midline periumbilical incision
* Umbilical hernia \>4cms.
