* acute polytrauma patient
* age ≥ 18 years old
* expected intensive care stay ≥ 3 days
* American Society of Anesthesiologists classification I or II
Exclusion Criteria:
* patient had received cardiopulmonary resuscitation
* limitation of therapy or comfort care
