* female
* receiving laparoscopic GYN procedure
* between 18-60
Exclusion Criteria:
* are already taking gabapentin
* have diabetic neuropathy
* have a chronic pain syndrome
* take opioids at home
* are pregnant
* have kidney disease
* have an allergy to morphine
