* Endoscopically proven gastric adenocarcinoma
* Standard gastrectomy and a D2 lymph node dissection;
* Desire to attend the study protocol
Exclusion Criteria:
* Metastatic or overt peritoneal disseminated cancer
* Undesired reaction to attend the study protocol
