* Patients with isolated TBI requiring surgery
* Surgery performed within 48 hours after insult
Exclusion Criteria:
* Presence of extracranial injuries (such as but not limited to orthopedic/ chest/ cardiac/ abdominal/ pelvis)
* Penetrating craniocerebral injury
* Pregnancy
