Inclusion criteria sepsis associated acute kidney injury:
* Sepsis diagnosed or suspected
* Age \>18 years
Inclusion Criteria healthy controls:
* Previously healthy individuals
* Age \>18 years
Exclusion Criteria:
Oliguria or renal impairment due to other causes than sepsis. Pregnancy or breast-feeding.
