Inclusion Criteria:
* consecutive patients newly diagnosed to have H. pylori infection.
Exclusion Criteria:
* known allergy to any of the treatment drugs
* inability to undergo routine test to confirm success of H. pylori eradication
* previous H. pylori therapy.
