Event Group

Event Groups are part of the Adverse Events Module within the Results Section. They provide a way to organize and summarize adverse event data by grouping related events together.

Each Event Group typically represents a category or class of adverse events and includes statistical information such as the number of participants affected and at risk for different event types: deaths, serious events, and other events.

Event Group path is as follows:

Study -> Results Section -> Adverse Events Module -> Event Group

Title: Healthy Adults
Description: Healthy adults Mixtures of nitrogen, air, and carbon dioxide: Hypoxia was induced to different and stable levels of oxyhemoglobin saturation (between 70-100%) by having subjects breathe mixtures of nitrogen, air, and carbon dioxide controlled by the study physician by adjusting gas flows with valves according to breath-by-breath estimates of oxygen saturation calculated from end-tidal PO2 and PCO2 displayed on a screen using LabVIEW 2015. 2 Gabi Band devices were placed on the subject (one on each arm). It was expected that the Accuracy Root Mean Square (ARMS) performance of the oximetry system would meet the required specification of ARMS of 3.5% or less.
