In group 1 (G1), ten teeth over erupted with angular bone loss were treated by GTR followed by Orthodontic intrusion whereas, in group two (G2) ten teeth over erupted with angular bone loss were treated by orthodontic intrusion followed by GTR. All cases were evaluated clinically for pocket depth (PD), bleeding on probing (BOP), tooth mobility prior starting phase one therapy, at re-evaluation and at six- and 12-months post starting either GTR or orthodontic intrusion. Also, radiographical evaluation was assessed using CBCT scan at end of re-evaluation, at six- and 12-months post starting either GTR or orthodontic intrusion to evaluate amount of orthodontic intrusion, amount of change of bone area and length related to angular defect in both groups.'}, 'eligibilityModule': {'sex': 'ALL', 'stdAges': ['ADULT'], 'maximumAge': '35 Years', 'minimumAge': '20 Years', 'healthyVolunteers': False, 'eligibilityCriteria': "Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Over erupted tooth with angular bone loss with presence of opposing\n* Mobility doesn't exceed grade two\n* No gingival recession more than 3mm\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Systematic diseases that complicate oral surgery such as hyperparathyroidism, bleeding disorders,....etc.\n* Smokers\n* Patients with negative attitude towards oral hygiene"}, 'identificationModule': {'nctId': 'NCT05371418', 'briefTitle': 'Comparative Clinical and Radiographical Evaluation of Treatment of Angular Bone Defect Related to Over Erupted Tooth Using GTR Followed by Orthodontic Intrusion Versus Orthodontic Intrusion Followed by GTR', 'organization': {'class': 'OTHER', 'fullName': 'Tanta University'}, 'officialTitle': 'Controlled Split Mouth Study of Effect of Orthodontic and Guided Bone Regeneration on Angular Bone Loss of Over-erupted Tooth', 'orgStudyIdInfo': {'id': '3333'}}, 'armsInterventionsModule': {'armGroups': [{'type': 'EXPERIMENTAL', 'label': 'guided regeneration (GTR) followed by orthodontic intrusion', 'description': 'Ten over erupted teeth were selected with an angular bone loss with presence of their opposing for spilt mouth study aged from 20- 35 years old, were treated by GTR followed by Orthodontic intrusion', 'interventionNames': ['Procedure: surgical (guided tissue regeneration)']}, {'type': 'EXPERIMENTAL', 'label': 'Orthodontic intrusion followed by GTR', 'description': 'Ten over erupted teeth were selected with an angular bone loss with presence of their opposing for spilt mouth study aged from 20- 35 years old, were treated by orthodontic intrusion followed by GTR', 'interventionNames': ['Device: orthodontic intrusion followed by guided tissue regeneration GTR']}], 'interventions': [{'name': 'surgical (guided tissue regeneration)', 'type': 'PROCEDURE', 'otherNames': ['guided tissue regeneration'], 'description': 'In group 1 (G1), ten teeth over erupted with angular bone loss were treated by guided tissue regeneration (GTR) followed by Orthodontic intrusion', 'armGroupLabels': ['guided regeneration (GTR) followed by orthodontic intrusion']}, {'name': 'orthodontic intrusion followed by guided tissue regeneration GTR', 'type': 'DEVICE', 'otherNames': ['orthodontic intrusion'], 'description': '.
