White light endoscopy (WLE); 2. Narrow Band Imaging (NBI) and 3. Iodine Staining Endoscopy (ISE) with 1.2% Lugol's iodine solution. The required observation time is no less than 1 minute for WLE and 2 minutes for NBI and ISE. Endoscopic images of each participant are routinely captured at every 5 centimeters in the esophagus, and information is recorded in detail for each focal lesion. Biopsies are taken from all visually abnormal areas found by any one of the three techniques, histopathologic diagnoses are rendered by two pathologists according to standard criteria and discrepancies are adjudicated by consultation. The recorded endoscopic images for each biopsied lesion are read by two trained researchers and the visualized feature of lesions are decomposed into several indicators (e.g. size, shape, color, and border of lesions) .", 'armGroupLabels': ['Opportunistic screening cohort']}]}, 'contactsLocationsModule': {'locations': [{'zip': '100050', 'city': 'Beijing', 'state': 'Beijing Municipality', 'status': 'NOT_YET_RECRUITING', 'country': 'China', 'contacts': [{'name': 'Fandong Meng, MD', 'role': 'CONTACT'}], 'facility': 'Beijing Friendship Hospital', 'geoPoint': {'lat': 39.9075, 'lon': 116.39723}}, {'city': 'Shantou', 'state': 'Guangdong', 'status': 'NOT_YET_RECRUITING', 'country': 'China', 'contacts': [{'name': 'Yi Guo, MD', 'role': 'CONTACT'}], 'facility': 'Shantou University Medical College Affiliated Cancer Hospital', 'geoPoint': {'lat': 23.35489, 'lon': 116.67876}}, {'zip': '455000', 'city': 'Anyang', 'state': 'Henan', 'status': 'RECRUITING', 'country': 'China', 'contacts': [{'name': 'Anxiang Liu, MD', 'role': 'CONTACT'}], 'facility': 'Anyang Cancer Hospital', 'geoPoint': {'lat': 36.096, 'lon': 114.38278}}, {'zip': '456400', 'city': 'Anyang', 'state': 'Henan', 'status': 'RECRUITING', 'country': 'China', 'contacts': [{'name': 'Yujie He, MD', 'role': 'CONTACT'}], 'facility': "People's Hospital of Hua County, Henan Province", 'geoPoint': {'lat': 36.096, 'lon': 114.38278}}, {'city': 'Yinchuan', 'state': 'Ningxia', 'status': 'NOT_YET_RECRUITING', 'country': 'China', 'contacts': [{'name': 'Shengjuan Hu, MD', 'role': 'CONTACT'}], 'facility': "People's Hospital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region", 'geoPoint': {'lat': 38.46806, 'lon': 106.27306}}], 'centralContacts': [{'name': 'Yang Ke, MD', 'role': 'CONTACT', 'email': 'keyang@bjmu.edu.cn', 'phone': '86-10-88196762'}, {'name': 'Zhonghu He, PhD', 'role': 'CONTACT', 'email': 'zhonghuhe@foxmail.com', 'phone': '86-10-88196762'}], 'overallOfficials': [{'name': 'Mengfei Liu, PhD', 'role': 'STUDY_DIRECTOR', 'affiliation': 'Peking University Cancer Hospital & Institute'}]}, 'sponsorCollaboratorsModule': {'leadSponsor': {'name': 'Peking University Cancer Hospital & Institute', 'class': 'OTHER'}, 'responsibleParty': {'type': 'PRINCIPAL_INVESTIGATOR', 'investigatorTitle': 'Professor', 'investigatorFullName': 'Yang Ke', 'investigatorAffiliation': 'Peking University Cancer Hospital & Institute'}}}}
