Clavicle surgeries often involve addressing fractures, dislocations, or corrective procedures, and they generally require precise and effective pain control.\n\nTraditional superficial cervical plexus block (SCPB) combined with interscalene brachial plexus block (ISBP) can be used in the operation of clavicle fracture.\n\nThe SCPB targets the cervical plexus, providing sensory anesthesia to the skin overlying the cervical and upper thoracic regions. It is often used in conjunction with other blocks to enhance analgesia in the upper shoulder and clavicle area.\n\nThe ISBP block involves the administration of local anesthetic at the level of the brachial plexus, typically performed between the anterior and middle scalene muscles. This approach provides comprehensive analgesia for the shoulder, upper arm, and part of the clavicular area.\n\nClavipectoral fascial plane block (CPB) is a new regional nerve block and can be used in anesthesia and postoperative analgesia for clavicle fracture surgery. CPB provides analgesia to the clavicular region and the upper shoulder.'}, 'eligibilityModule': {'sex': 'ALL', 'stdAges': ['ADULT', 'OLDER_ADULT'], 'maximumAge': '65 Years', 'minimumAge': '18 Years', 'healthyVolunteers': False, 'eligibilityCriteria': 'Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Aged 18 to 65 years.\n* Both sexes.\n* American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I, II.\n* Patients with unilateral clavicular fractures undergo elective internal fixation of clavicle fractures.\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Coagulopathy.\n* Patients with infection at block site.\n* Allergy to local anesthetics.\n* Patient with morbid obesity (body mass index \\>35 kg/m2).\n* Pre-existing neurological disease.\n* Difficult communication.'}, 'identificationModule': {'nctId': 'NCT06831604', 'briefTitle': 'Superficial Cervical Plexus Block With Either Clavipectoral Fascial Plane Block or Interscalene Brachial Block for Clavicle Surgeries Anesthesia', 'organization': {'class': 'OTHER', 'fullName': 'Tanta University'}, 'officialTitle': 'Ultrasound Guided Superficial Cervical Plexus Block With Either Clavipectoral Fascial Plane Block or Interscalene Brachial Block for Clavicle Surgeries Anesthesia: A Randomized Controlled Trial', 'orgStudyIdInfo': {'id': '36265MD331/12/24'}}, 'armsInterventionsModule': {'armGroups': [{'type': 'EXPERIMENTAL', 'label': 'Group I', 'description': 'Patients will receive Superficial Cervical Plexus Block (SCPB) and Clavipectoral Fascial Plane Block (CPB).', 'interventionNames': ['Drug: Superficial Cervical Plexus Block (SCPB) and Clavipectoral Fascial Plane Block (CPB)']}, {'type': 'EXPERIMENTAL', 'label': 'Group II', 'description': 'Patients will receive Superficial Cervical Plexus Block (SCPB) and Interscalene Brachial Block (ISBP).', 'interventionNames': ['Drug: Superficial Cervical Plexus Block (SCPB) and Interscalene Brachial Block (ISBP)']}], 'interventions': [{'name': 'Superficial Cervical Plexus Block (SCPB) and Clavipectoral Fascial Plane Block (CPB)', 'type': 'DRUG', 'otherNames': ['Group I'], 'description': 'Patients will receive Superficial Cervical Plexus Block (SCPB) and Clavipectoral Fascial Plane Block (CPB).', 'armGroupLabels': ['Group I']}, {'name': 'Superficial Cervical Plexus Block (SCPB) and Interscalene Brachial Block (ISBP)', 'type': 'DRUG', 'otherNames': ['Group II'], 'description': 'Patients will receive Superficial Cervical Plexus Block (SCPB) and Interscalene Brachial Block (ISBP)', 'armGroupLabels': ['Group II']}]}, 'contactsLocationsModule': {'locations': [{'zip': '31527', 'city': 'Tanta', 'state': 'El-Gharbia', 'status': 'RECRUITING', 'country': 'Egypt', 'contacts': [{'name': 'Ahmed M Aboeldahab, Master', 'role': 'CONTACT', 'email': 'ahmed.aboeldahab1422@gmail.com', 'phone': '00201069784512'}, {'name': 'Kamal E Haikal, MD', 'role': 'SUB_INVESTIGATOR'}, {'name': 'Ahmed M Elsheikh, MD', 'role': 'SUB_INVESTIGATOR'}, {'name': 'Mohamed S Abdelghany, MD', 'role': 'SUB_INVESTIGATOR'}, {'name': 'Mohammed S ElSharkawy, MD', 'role': 'SUB_INVESTIGATOR'}], 'facility': 'Tanta University', 'geoPoint': {'lat': 30.78847, 'lon': 31.00192}}], 'centralContacts': [{'name': 'Ahmed M Aboeldahab, Master', 'role': 'CONTACT', 'email': 'ahmed.aboeldahab1422@gmail.com', 'phone': '00201069784512'}]}, 'ipdSharingStatementModule': {'infoTypes': ['STUDY_PROTOCOL'], 'timeFrame': 'After the end of study for one year.', 'ipdSharing': 'YES', 'description': 'The data will be available upon a reasonable request from the corresponding author after the end of study for one year.', 'accessCriteria': 'The data will be available upon a reasonable request from the corresponding author.'}, 'sponsorCollaboratorsModule': {'leadSponsor': {'name': 'Tanta University', 'class': 'OTHER'}, 'responsibleParty': {'type': 'PRINCIPAL_INVESTIGATOR', 'investigatorTitle': 'Assistant Lecturer of Anesthesiology, Surgical Intensive Care and Pain Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Tanta University, Tanta, Egypt.', 'investigatorFullName': 'Ahmed Mohamed Aboeldahab', 'investigatorAffiliation': 'Tanta University'}}}}
