This study will include 80 adult patients with type1 or type 2 diabetes; 20 with normal serum creatinine, 40 with renal failure in the predialysis stage (20 with stage 3 and 4 CKD \\[GFR 0f 20-40\\] and 20 with stage 5 CKD not yet on hemodialysis \\[GFR \\<20\\]), and 20 on hemodialysis.
