An eCertified Document is a Document that has been Certified by the Lake County Recorder. Certified Documents are sometimes needed for legal or banking reasons.
The ability to Certify a Document on-line allows you to Certify a Document without driving to the Recorder's Office.
If someone were to email you a document, you can verify if it was recorded at the Lake County Recorder's Office. You can verify your Recording via 2 methods.
1. Upload the actual File by Hitting the "Verify an eCertified Document By File" Button Below.
2. Enter the red hash value (it's the long numbers and letters) on the document after clicking the "Verify an eCertified Document By Hash" Button Below.
