The Lake County Recorder has 2 methods to electronically record a document.
Traditional eRecording:
Traditional eRecording consists of using one of the companies that does that.
True eRecording:
Completely paperless. You send us a template of your document. We populate that document every time you send us an excel file with the needed fields, and then record the image with the data. We are in testing with this as of 7/1/2023. Merrillville Conservancy District was the first entity to record this way.
